Maths Gear's very own Matt Parker has written a book! Things to Make and Do in the Fourth Dimension.
According to the official blurb, it's "a riotous journey through the possibilities of numbers, with audience participation. This book can be cut, drawn in, folded into shapes and will even take you to the fourth dimension."
The back cover also invites you to "join stand-up mathematician Matt Parker on a journey through narcissistic numbers, optimal dating algorithms, at least two different kinds of infinity and more." Which sound a little risky to us. We don't even put Matt in charge of organising our Maths Gear trips to the pub, let alone anything involving infinity.
Anyway, you can buy the book through Maths Gear and Matt will sign it for you. If you'd like to avoid the obvious drop in value caused by Matt's scribblings, let us know and we'll stop him from defacing it.
