Many games involve rolling two dice and adding the numbers. These dice have the numbers 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4 - but yet give the same results and probabilities as two normal 1-to-6 dice!
Discovered by George Sicherman in 1977, they are the only other pair of dice to give the same results as normal dice (using whole numbers greater than zero).
