This is a twisty puzzle similar to the Rubik's cube, but instead of using colours to indicate which pieces go where, the layers of the cube are different thicknesses - so when it's twisted, the pieces stick out! The cube is solved when it's back into a cube shape, and all pieces are flush with nothing sticking out. Even if you have mastered the normal Rubik's cube: this is a fun variation.
The original Mirror Cube has reflective silver stickers covering the pieces, and is now also stocked by Maths Gear in dark blue. Both are manufactured by twisty puzzle experts QiYi.
